I'll have to agree with that - can't fold maps either. I do the
driving, the navigating and have to put up with back seat driving from
someone who hasn't even passed her test - yet. When she does I'll enjoy
sitting in the passenger seat for a change. | maps can be folded? |
There's an unwritten rule that once a map's been unfolded, no matter
how hard you try and follow the folds, you'll never get it back to its
original flat, folded state.

If they can be it's news to Mrs Syzygy, despite her black belt in origami.

There are actually quite a few women who have posted here.. and pretty much got fed up with the infantile attitude of the men here, so they've moved on to more adult conversations elsewhere.
I tell you, as one of the females who has been here the longest... I'm no longer amazed at why most prog loving men can't find a girlfriend who likes their music.... Evidently it has nothing to do with the actual music.............

Look 'Doctor'- don't make me order a dominatrix to fly to your house: you'll have nipple-tassles, whips, chains and your blood all over the floor. (Usually I don't use such immature humour but this time I couldn't resist.)
I'm a girl who jumped into prog like a fish swims into water with glee- I'm embracing and loving it. AND I'M A GIRL! Note the gender: WOMAN! The girls you guys know are either one of a kind or you're mainly chauvinist pricks.

Good question! I'm a woman and I love prog. Enough said (without giving into the temptation of using strong language...)

I do have to admit however that it is virtually impossible to find a female who listens to prog. As a matter of fact it is equally impossible to find anybody who likes prog.

When I'm looking for some privacy in my house, I just put Frank Zappa's Weasels Ripped My Flesh CD on my stereo and crank the Volume.....then when I put some Pink Floyd stuff my girlfriend reappears.

My ex-girlfriend really likes Phish, and at the time I hated Phish with a passion. I was mostly into black/death metal at the time. The sad thing is, I kind of like them now...ahh shoot me!

I'm making some progress with my girlfriend, prog-wise. She "tolerates"
most of my music and even likes some of it. She really enjoyed Ozric
Tentacles when I whacked Waterfall Cities on t'other day.
