Well, hopefully she's sufficiently impressed with your commitment...now it's out for coffee or a movie and back to your place for extracurricular activities*. * worked for me, anyway

Yeah, I cannot bear to play Fender basses, with their 9.5inch fretboard radiuses. Spector have 16 inch radius fretboards, and Ibanez even have a bass with a 20 inch radius, which a friend of mine has and it is seriously way easier and nicer to play than any Fender bass.
How long have you been playing bass, cos my friend has only been playing for about a year and he can play for hours straight, and do 8 finger tapping with no pain and even hammer on runs and stuff, so I'm guessing you don't practice the stuff that really builds strength (think legato exercises).

Haha... well, let's just say that they're glad it was for a good cause. Nah, nobody really minds.

"Haven't practiced in a month". That is quite an achievement Josh:P
If I don't play guitar for once day, I make up for it by practicing 6-7 hours the next day.

Wow, I thought my practice habits were bad, but Josh just one-upped me something fierce.
Gotta love STC.

Yeah, sometimes I want to strip 'er down. The drums, I find, are extremely big, and as you know, Bubinga is an extremely heavy wood, and because of that I find it horribly difficult to get everything exactly where I want it. Also, the way I have everything set up right now kind of awkward. And it's been about a month now with my toms all out of tune, because they're so goddamn hard to tune. I get so frustrated with it that I haven't practiced in almost a month. Every time I sit down to play some, I start tweaking, getting angry, and leave it alone. It's pissing me off.
