you should read the interview, he says he could release 10 discs of unreleased material that he's accumulated without exageration |

There has to be a way to get around this, but I can't think of one right now. |

Okay...I'm about to prepare supper. I'll be back and forth, so don't get mad if your cards aren't as forthcoming as you'd like them to be.

Sounds like a common problem Stolt has in the studio, too. |

I have read it, but it was not with intense detail that I read it. I still need to actually go through and not skim it, since I've been meaning to intently read it for a while now. That does sound hilarious. |

have you read that one, Alex? It was a 2 parter, I couldn't do it all at once . He ran me out of tape! I had to ask him to hold on while I found more! . Good guy though, gave great answers. |

here's today's
http://www.progarchives.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=53239 The rest won't count since they were posted around Thursday, the 6th. And you're damn spiffy they take a while to prepare! Research takes forever, not to mention that the transcription of a 30-minute long interview (on average) takes about 3 hours to do, and that's a lot longer if they have a thick accent. I could do soooo many reviews during that that. but interviews are more fun |

That sounds pretty neat, particularly talking to Stolt. |

Vompatti, how can you interview yourself if you never quote yourself? |

I'll allow it. Interviews require preparation and are a valuable addition to this site. So I'll dish out one card for each post-NOVEMBER 8th interview you post a link to here. |

Legitimate? you questioning me?
Last week I interviewed Karmakanic/The Flower Kings Jonas Reingold, Omer Ephrat from Ephrat and today was our featured artist, Edensong, James Schoen whom I chatted with over skype. I've interviewed members of The Tangent, Ayreon, half of Spock's Beard, Ex-Scorpions guitarist Ulli Jon Roth, Helloween, Gamma Ray (the last two of those were in person, and video), Beardfish, The Flower Kings (Roine Stolt and I chatted or over an hour), Riverside, and Amaseffer. (ps - the last one was done today) |

Am I the only one who read that as 11/8 being a time signature? |

It is legitimate work...who'd you interview by the way? It might just be one card per interview. You unique position does give you an advantage. Remember, I'm only counting anything done after 11/8, otherwise, I'd be swamped with previous reviews. |

2 or 3, something like that. I could be here; that sounds like a plan. However, we'll have to see if tonight is a good night to hold it or if we should give people more time to plan a more well-attended prog jeopardy later in the week. If we don't end up holding it tonight, I may also take advantage of that time to work on some long-term homework. It all depends on how productive I'm feeling as well. It's up to you though. I can be here if we get a good game going. |
