I'm still doing those things, (well, except that I do practice acceptable standards of personal hygiene) and I haven't been in undergrad for 16 years. Why just this evening I had a pound of bacon, some cheetos and am washing it down with a 12 pack and a bottle of scotch.

I can understand your anger at me, but what did the horse I rode in on ever do to you?

There is a theoretical limit that most students I've known attempt to discover at some point in their college life. |
Men knows no alcohol limits.

That doesn't sound right... are you sure that's what "rageban" means. |
I don't know, I surprisingly don't keep up with internet slang. |
Unsurprisingly, no one does - internet slang is l33tism at its most .... meh. |

But I feel like, as a college student, I have an obligation to be a huge dork and keep up with that crap. |

Textbook got band? I'm not buying their records. Well, okay, maybe I would.
As for my final take,
Here it comes, oh here it comes < (singing girls, or are they?)
If I fell in love with a "girl" and it turned out it was a "guy," I would no longer be in love. Downgrade to friend, but creepy friend, so downgrade to repressed memory.

The guy has been trying for months...took him long enough Other people have managed in under 5 minutes. He even failed at getting banned

Has Textbook written something thats been cencored? Nothing I've read in this thread qualifies for getting banned. Not even at PA.
Anyway.... Uh sure, I'd consider it. If I was single and attracted too this female looking person happening to be a transsexual... A transsexual looking like a guy would probably not work, but I'm just guessing. I'm with this actual female (as I've been for years) and as far as I know, not really interested in anything else.

Or we could make a Textbook memorial thread where we remember all the joy he brought into our lives. (shortest thread ever)

Please...he wanted it. If it wasn't obvious from how he carried himself...he told me via PM. I'm sure he's laughing at his "victory"
Shame is, this one thread was actually a pretty interesting topic. Go figure
|
Quite true, this IS an interesting topic.
But, really, getting rageban from an admin is possibly second easiest way to get banned around here. |
Rage Ban (from the Urban Dictionary) (Verb)
To ban a person, or service maliciously and in a childish manner
from IRC or a server. Also known as "Doing a Blizzard_Wolf" or "Doing a
Rage_Wolf"
Please clarify if this is what you mean by rageban?
|
LOL, no. That isn't a very accurate definition, but can be applied to some situations. You aren't going to get the meaning of that if you try and search for it directly; all I can say is lurk more.
Regardless of that, he was deliberately trying to push your buttons and he got what he expected, though I believe that deleting the threads and giving him no attention would have been more effective.
