This thread has some of the wannabe liars that are suspended already - sorry I cant believe any of this, not with the hoaxes going arond at present. Snopes probably says he is alive......

One of my worst experiences collecting records was the day I found the Spring LP in a dollar bin and there was a scratched up Sesame Street record inside.Cry

Spring was a good band, with a young Pick Withers on drums, later with Dire Straits.

Poor Pat Moran! An incredibly talented and singular vocalist, as well as a highly respected producer. I will admit that I had no idea he was ill.

I dont care much for disrespect, but this is a lot worse.
 
The  clear implication was that Im a hoaxer;   that for some perverse reason I honed in on the LIVING Pat Moran.
 
That's akin to the sick scenario where you get a phonecall in the middle of the night  from some sad Nothing and your told your father has just died, when you know he is sleeping in the other room.

As well as being producer, Pat also was engineer for some Van der Graff and Hammill.
