I rather enjoy the red carpet treatment I get at 5 star restaurants because I'm an official prog reviewer. The free limos are cool, too!

Oh, THAT'S where Folly went!
I hope he gets better, but it doesn't look good; Tony R. is pretty vicious with the sledgehammers. Edited by rileydog22 - August 13 2007 at 02:24 |

Corpse, not crop. What about when we fight with sledgehammers? That's mildly something worth being a collaborator. Did inpraiseoffolly recovered from that, by the way? He didn't?!?! |

Really, the only advantage of being a PR or other collab is getting to see the secret collab zone, which really isn't as awesome as it sounds. Except for that one time Rico brought in a donkey with a riding crop.

I don't think it matters, anyway, that the rest of the PA population has privileges only 4 stars and up should have. Who cares if we can all edit our reviews? In grand scheme of thing, it probably makes for more accurate and more better reviews.
That's right, I said more better. |

Hmm. I reported it three times over the past year - how's that for 'will be fixed in the near future'... Me thinks M@X has other priorities with respect to improvements at the moment. |

I'm only joking, I actually do have a lot of sympathy for those who [were] unable to edit old reviews: because I personally really understand the embarrassment a hasty or useless review. I actually use the edit tool way more than I should.

I noticed I also can do that. I reported it (http://www.progarchives.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=40806) and it's definitely a bug that will be fixed in the near future. |

Me too.... I have the key to success: find a coherent review-structure that you can always follow, that will help you perfect it and once you've mastered it you can focus in improving the actual content and grammar.... Then, even if you haven't achieved the latter goals like some of us, you can start to write long reviews and then, voila, when you have a good number of reviews of varied artists, you'll be a reviewer...
Oh, and answering the poll, NO... until he writes a 5-star review of the right group and a 1-star review of the right band.... Edited by The T - August 11 2007 at 19:12 |

The thread's not there yet. That's why I suggested sending a PM to Erik or Tony (Glass House).

Earlier this week Glass House proposed (in Erik Neuteboom's lesser known bands thread) to start a thread where PRs advice non-PRs on how to write/improve their reviews. Drop these two a PM, there may be some advice waiting for you there... Edited by Angelo - August 11 2007 at 09:19 |
