Topic: Favorite Album Cover? Posted: May 24 2006 at 03:15 |
I never cared much for Hipgnosis covers, but everything Roger Dean and Alex Grey (Tool, The String Cheese Incident) do is pretty good. I also like H.R. Giger's ELP cover.

I agree, whenever I shut my eyes while listening to that album, this image pops right into my mind. Though even apart from the music it's amazing; I could stare at it for hours.
Also Pink Floyd's Wish You Were Here has amazing art. Not just the cover but contained all throughout the album.

All of Pink Floyd covers from Atom hear mother to The Division Bell (with the exception of maybe Meddle and the Final cut) are the best in music...or art

One that hasn't been mentioned is Were Only in it for the Money, The Mothers of Invention. Every time I see it I crack up.

I am surprised no one has mentioned Caravan's "In the Land of Grey and Pink" or a single Zappa cover.
