One of my personal favourite movies of all time. Rate it out of 10.

I read the book way before it was made into a movie; a great read and not at all like the film which evidently is a fictitious spoof (haven't seen it yet)

Very funny movie! Saw it just a few weeks ago. I give it a 9, it got slow for just a bit in the middle, but otherwise was hysterical. Made funnier because it's based on a true story!

2.
This movie had such great potential, but it was let down after let down after let down. Pretty much a flop.

Yep. The disjuncture between the intriguing premise and the craptastic conclusion is staggering. Hard to believe it slides into oblivion so quickly.

They play Boston though, so that's a consolation.

Didn't know the book, so wasn't sure quite what to expect... certainly wasn't that
Thoroughly enjoyed it - a strong 7 in my book

I thought you said you didn't know the book. I've never seen the movie.
