I read the book way before it was made into a movie; a great read and not at all like the film which evidently is a fictitious spoof (haven't seen it yet) |

| Very funny movie! Saw it just a few weeks ago. I give it a 9, it got slow for just a bit in the middle, but otherwise was hysterical. Made funnier because it's based on a true story! |

Yep. The disjuncture between the intriguing premise and the craptastic conclusion is staggering. Hard to believe it slides into oblivion so quickly. |

Didn't know the book, so wasn't sure quite what to expect... certainly wasn't that
