Wow! What a fantastic selection  It WAS a good year for prog. A slap in the face for all those who says it was dead by then..

My vote goes to Yes, Going for the One, but's it's no easy choice, when set against Genesis and Rush..

Ultimately bored by endless ecstasy!

A tie between Animals and Going For The One, I slightly prefer Animals.

Oxygene is from 1976, isn't it?

Animals, though Wind and Wuthering would be my preference if it actually came out in '77 instead of right at the end of '76.

Agreed!

I have to vote for Animals as I probably play it more than any other choice and it is my favorite Pink Floyd album.

Shouldn't Genesis - Wind and Wuthering be on this list???

Anyway, i voted for Rush - A Farewell To Kings

Locanda delle fate - Forse le lucciole non si amano piú

Pulsar - Halloween (not listed)

Akasha - Akasha (not listed)

I have not heard the National Health album. On my want list. I'm curious about England too.

"Garden Shed" is a very good album, among the best from that year!!!

"Forse Le Lucciole Non Si Amano Più" is wonderful!!!

Have all these albums (except Circus and Triana) in my collection. For me Locanda Delle Fate is an undisputed winner here!!!!
