(amurite)
As Portnoy watched his life-long friend blaze up and down the frets, his face contorted into an extreme paradox where pleasure meets pain omg srsly, he realised that he wanted to be much MORE than just his friend - he started to beat his drums in a brash, exhibitionist way (and he wasn't to know, but the 13/4 pattern his hands "naturally" fell into was closely modeled after an ancient love tattoo played by the Incans during their three day festivals of orgiastic ravishing) ... Petrucci responded by arching his back and playing legato super triplets with his tongue and Portnoy marvelled at the way his body looked - poised and muscular, yet delicate |

There is more to know. The keyboardist's name, for example.

I figured out how to play both the left and right handed piano parts of Curious Couplings at the same time. On guitar. Edited by Chameleon - May 24 2008 at 16:22 |

The Berlin Wall (Solo) Take #2, in addition to a very sloppy Ushanka.

I lost the drumbeat a few times, so likely it'll sound really sloppy too. Oh well, it's a good thing we don't aim very high.

Yeah, I heard a lot of extraneous string noise, not sure if that just means you have bad string muting technique or you were just sloppy for that recording.

Trust me, it was definitely sloppiness. (which also means I'll be more than happy to redo it)

No, no, see, the problem is, the rhythm guitar is sloppy too.
Just kidding. It just sounds really... live, if you know what I'm Hillage-ing. We're not a professionally recorded artist.

Yeah, I could kinda tell it wasn't exactly pro recorded. Do you use a click track when you don't have the drum samples/backing available?
