If God does exist, he himself is probably even more amazing and complex.

I'm pretty much half Christian and half Agnostic. It's kinda hard to explain and I don't really understand it myself.

In truth I'm probably the closest in definition to agnostic.

But I really just don't care. God no god it don't matter just enjoy your life and try not hurting too many people.

Pretty much.

On that line, if you ever wanna freak out some Christians, tell that to them.
If they bring up hell say "I dont care"
When they are done choking just say "This is my life, I live it how I see fit, if it turns out I go to hell so be it"
They will look at you like eyes are sprouting out of your anus.

Double kudos if you can get someone (usually a street preacher) to seriously tell you "you are going to Hell"
Say I don't care, they're bound to go nuts!

Extreme agnostic.

I'm not any of that "theistic or atheistic" agnostic sh*t.
Why be kind of sure?
I am totally sure in my not being sureApprove

I think if God does exist he will also not automatically send all Agnostics or Atheists to Hell, unless they weren't good people anyway of course. He probably would understand their reasons for choosing to not be religious. If he doesn't, well, then he's not worth worshipping anyway.

LOL I do it with Hasidic's which try to put Tfilin on me... You know those Jewish wrap around my arm stuff.

I really feel as if it's a question which answer won't bring anyone anything. So we might as well just drop it.

You are being waaaaay too open minded LOL
Anyway you're speaking about god...I'm speaking about closed minded Christians.

Worshipping is weird to me anyway. What a selfish jerk god is!
It's why deism makes sense to me. If there is this supreme being on infinite everything, it'd be above forcing us lowly humans to worship him? Sorry that makes no sense IMO. Also I liked the idea "setting the universe in motion" and non intervention. It makes sense to me.
I'm not positive though about itTongue

Actually, that is more or less what I say.
I'm glad to hear it too because people  can't wrap their head around "we cant know" . While you can gather all the evidence you need ultimately, it is a decision made on faith. Atheists ALWAYS always think I'm trolling, (I guess since they cant grasp it) but I still Atheism is a choice made on faith.

Because while I certainly do understand why someone can say there's no god, no one knows that and it's impossible to know.

Then I get laughed at usually, people tend to find it silly. Confused I guess no matter what you believe it's important to believe in something and this middle ground IDC mentality is weird.

Anywho, I still swing between Deist and Atheist, so I have no idea.
You said...best not to bother ourselves with it.
I still say you're incorrect, but since we live in a world were some clown in antiquity put the idea into people's heads that a god did this that or the other it is impossible to remove that basic notion from our subconscious. Because that is all it is - it is just an idea that all this clever stuff in the Universe is too complicated to have just "been" and could not possibly (really?) have happened by accident so may have been created by some other being, whose one existence, by some contradicting quirk of logic, requires no explanation or meta-creator. And that's where it all falls to pieces in your hands unless you arrive at the conclusion that, (regardless of what or how the Universe came into being and regardless of what or how that Universe coagulated into stars and planets and regardless of how on one of those planets orbiting one of those stars life came into being and regardless of how that life evolved into a sentient life form that could ponder its own existence), all these explanations and justifications that we have are only the invention of that sentient life-form that infests this planet. What we have yet to decide or fathom or deduce is which of these are the most likely to be probable. So far we seem to have ruled out pantheon-ism and giant turtles.

Well here's the thing Dean.
When I say "based on faith" I totally get why Atheists lose their sh*t.
I think it's misunderstanding.....

I mean it as literally, you are choosing to believe that.
I am sorry, but there's no other way to spin in. You, nor no one knows there is no god. Likewise no one knows there is one. Either side can is ultimately choosing to believe what they do, based on what is enough for them.

It's funny because I am obviously much closer to atheism to any organized religion, (and certainly Christianity). Even on the days I decide I believe in a god it's not the "normal" one, and sometimes I doubt there is anything at all.
So it's not even like I'm still clinging to some antique idea that we need the big dude up there.

Maybe I am. *shrugs*
And I know you're speaking about close minded Christians, but I'm speaking about god.

You won't believe just how many times I have thought those exact words "What a selfish jerk god is!" myself LOL
I don't get the whole "be thankful to God for what he gave to you" concept. Why did he give us those things in the first place, just to have us worship him?

Hey, maybe all this religion stuff is just an experiment on the humans to see how stupid they can be. And maybe even the prophets themselves were in on it.

I think Agnosticism works because it's more reasonable. You can't prove anything about God. You can't prove he isn't there, you can't prove he is. You are religious, maybe in the end everything you worked for will be useless because there is no god. You are an atheist, maybe in the end the same thing will happen to you, except now you'll find that there is a god.
