Like you said it is popularity and nothing else. To compare Wilson to Tebow is just lame. RGII's injury cannot be good for his future. As for the Steelers I have to wonder is DeCastro going to amount to anything? I also wonder how many bad seasons Tomlin has to have before he gets the ax. Hoping to see Ray Lewis's career come to an end with a loss today. Just some more hype.

I feel like both Wilson AND Luck were robbed of votes for Offensive RotY, but what can you do?
And yep, go Ravens!

With a hapless opponent and the best run of luck in nfl history anything is possible. Nothing could be worse for football than this joke of the team finishing it off in the second half and double-homicide ray getting rewarded for having his ass beat all around the field in the first half. Can't believe how poorly the 49ers secondary looks and how terribly they managed the clock at the end of the half. The NFL is a f**king joke.

It's not so much that the NFL is a joke or sucks or whatever, it's more that it can no longer live up to the incredibly high level of importance and historic scale that the media presents it as, and which only gets more titanic and ridiculous with time.

the streets are eerily quiet here in S.F., as if the whole city is holding its breath

Yeah barring an amazing turn around this is over...niners were never in it. Ravens clicking on all cylinders and kaepernick doesn't look quite the same. Did feel weird imagining someone playing half a season and winning the SB. Wtf thr power is out???

I only saw 5 seconds of the halftime show, but that hideous junk must have degraded the power structure a popped a sub-station feed.
Why can't they just play the game and quit this stupid circus....I guess I am old school.

My daughter liked it. I counted crotch shots and shuddered at what this meant.

With my brother in law being a dairy farmer, working 7 days a week, milking twice a day in all sorts of weather as well as planting, feeding, raising a family, etc, etc, To me it was the best car commercial ever and a message long over due.
Meanwhile back to the subject matter, nice tight game after the power blip...
