As much as it pains me to give congrats to the Ravens, congrats. The D played with renewed intensity. I am quite happy that I will not have see that terrible Ray dance anymore after this year...  Yuck, Seachickens better get it in gear before it gets out of hand.

Wow, that impossibly blurry image really changes everything. Seriously dude, you can barely make out players in that image. I wish that I could find the post Super Bowl XL Inside the NFL in which they went through ever cried about call from that game. Besides, it's always taken indisputable evidence to overturn the original call and, even with a picture that doesn't look like it's from Atari, the point of the ball in undeterminable.

RGIII isn't going to last more than a few years in this game. Not from lack of talent, from his body getting destroyed. His leg just collapsed under him as he went to pick up the ball... not even any contact.

Oh MoM...for someone who always "jokes" you sure take things seriously. Besides, we've all seen the video, we know how far Ben got....and it wasn't in the end zone! great game from the hawks, was worried but they really turned things around. Complete, balanced team and Wilson may be more stable than Kaepernick, and just as explosive. Talent wise, Seattle may be the best in the NFC. Yeah even if RG3 develops into a pocket passer he's just so small. Vick has gotten hurt the last 2 years, from in the pocket, so that can't even be a "safe" place for a smaller dude. He's tough though, the kid has heart and the option is damn tough to play. I really would like him to not be around in the NFC east

Bring on the Seahawks. Though as good as the Falcons are this year, I will be surprised if they make it past the first game of the playoffs. They're just not.... CRAZY MAD enough to win in the postseason, I dunno. I hope they prove me wrong.

Matt Ryan has to get over this post-season slump he always seems to get into (or I suppose the whole team has to). I still think Atlanta will beat Seattle, but after what I saw today, it's not going to be an easy feat. The poise and maturity of such a young team like the Seahawks, they weren't rattled a bit after going down 14-0 early on. Made some slight adjustments, and the Redskins didn't have a chance, bad knee or not on RGIII.

Frankly, RGIII was neither the best, nor most important, rookie on his own team. Alfred Morris should be getting a lot more credit than he is for the Redskins' season. I'd actually go Wilson, Morris, Luck, RGIII. That said, I completely ignored the defensive side. If there was a big impact defensive rookie, this year, then I missed hi.

That's right... Morris was 2nd only to Peterson in rushing yards gained this season. He deserves a lot of credit.

I think the Rookie of the Year should go to Luck if we're giving it to one of the top 3 rookie QBs. RGIII has an offense designed around him similar to what he played in college and his unique skill set. Wilson plays on the most complete team of the 3. Statistically, I'll have to try and find it and pull it up again, but the only reason the Colts are in the playoffs was because of Luck. Without him, they are not a playoff team.

Well the Colts are not a playoff team. Luck has a QB rating of 76.5, Wilson rating 100.0. Luck 18 interceptions, Wilson 10.Luck 10 fumbles, Wilson 6. Luck 23 TD passes, Wilson 26. The biggest factor is wilson is still playing his rookie season. Luck and Griffin are on vacation.

I disagree with the last point since playoffs don't matter when handing out a regular season award but otherwise manofmystery likes this post. RGIII and Luck were the big names this year and Luck should be in the discussion but if justice is served it'll come down to Wilson and Morris (who actually led the skins to the playoffs).
