I think the band chooses the spelling Theater.
If the band chose to call themselves Dhreem Zheather, that would be their name.
If Genesis had chosen to be called Jenesis, that would be their name.

Dream Theater a just one of those bands who aren't willing to conform.Consider them mavericks when it comes to grammar.

Guys, listen to the music on that Brokencyde video on the first page.
Now then, anyone who said any of the bands in the poll in worse than that is flat out wrong. This can be decided by a ya-nay vote by all sane people on the planet (sane being people who vote that Brokencyde is worse than all others in the poll. A circular argument? Cause preceding effect? Brokencyde is so horrible that logic goes and blows its brains out because it clearly does not matter anymore.)

This gives me very mixed emotions. This makes me laugh, wince in pain and disgust, and it gives me a higher self-esteem
Besides that, I would say Nickelback is the worst band on the list. I live in Ohio and the only thing that is ever on the radio is Nickelback. The same song or incredibly similar song is playing on every single station. The other bands on the list are dreadful but Nickelback is on a whole new level.
