I'm surprised that you are not rating Brittany Spears ... not bad looking body, if you ask me .,.. and at least you know you don't get a doll! That rates more like ... woman ... not doll ...

In this case ... do you want music or do you want a doll? Then go rate Beethoven if you are bored!

Huh?

I think he's saying we should rate Britanny Spears highly because she has a "no bad looking body", but thats a bad way to rate people. And also, if he/she was Britanny Spears, he wouldn't care what we rated him/her.

Same here
Its very, very, very good!

I've (admittedly) only given it two full listens so far, but I really like what I've heard.
The first disc (well, I guess THE INCIDENT) is much better than the second... The second isn't that great.

I am listening to disk one right now and I have to say I am greatly disappointed thus far. I hope disk two is better.

Disc 2 isn't any better, but is more consistent. it does contain Bonnie The Cat though, which is a great track in the style of FOABP.

The preview for sure had the greatest moments from the album... and I think the full album is very inconsistent. It has some fantastic highlights such as The Blind House and The Incident, but also lot of weak, uninteresting and even boring moments. Overall I think it's a pretty good album... it's not their best, but it's definitely in the top 5 of them IMO.

I'm picking mine up on Tuesday and looking forward to it.

I haven't really kept up with the thread, but how is the sound/mood of The Incident? Have they broken new ground or anything?

I didn't like the single edit, and I still don't like the verses and choruses in the full song, but the middle part really is good indeed.

I thought I'd hate it when I first started listening but it grew on me really fast. Disc 2 is really good, I like that really mellow song, Black Dahlia, I think it was called... when I first heard the album the songs from disc 2 were mixed in with the songs from disc 1 and it worked really well that way. :P

Anyway, overall not Stupid Dream or In Absentia but I might like it more than Fear of a Blank Planet.

^Yea, the middle part is really what makes it great. I like the feel of the verses, despite bearing obvious similarities to Dogs.

I wasn't a fan of "Time Flies", and sadly, I think it is the best song on the album. This is certainly a disappointment.
