Not to be missed if you like films about life.

I've seen them. I liked the first two muchly, but am not a fan of Beyond Thunderdome.

I loved the books (especially as a kid), but was very disappointed with the film adaptation (prefer what Bakshi did). Heck, I'd take Jackson's Bad Taste and Braindead over that. I was very impressed with Heavenly Creatures. I think that the Three Colours trilogy is in a different league of artistry.

Or the Samurai trilogy, which I haven't seen yet but I've heard it's pretty incredible.

And I'm good looking.

I haven't seen those yet, but I see they have a lot of high marks. I really enjoyed Kieslowski's Decalogue, so I'd probably like the Three Colours as well. (Yes, I am a 15-year-old who watches foreign art films. )

Very cool Josh. Any 15 yo into the Decalogue is thumbs up in my book. Took me twice that long to find it. Just make sure to watch them in that order, B/W/R. While not critical, there are little things he throws in that rely on the order. Also check out La Double Vie someday.

That gets my vote, too, by the way. Modern masterpieces. |
I would watch them when I was way younger, and I was addicted. My first PA username was Aragorn224...

The Evil Dead trilogy is pretty awesome IMO, especially once they started really mixing in the slapstick humor. I suppose they'll get my vote. They're probably not my favorite trilogy overall but I'll use this opportunity to maybe let a few people know about them.

This is a pretty solid option.
The Godfather trilogy is 2/3 brilliant but I'm feeling a pull towards comedy right now, and seeing as how there are FOUR Vacation movies, I think I'll go with:
the Naked Gun trilogy

 Time always wins.

Mad Max, Back To The Future, Lord Of The Rings and Die Hard are all excellent movies but they're nothing compared to the glory of the original Star Wars trilogy
