Can anybody tell me who that person in my Avatar is?  He's one of my heroes.  I'll give you two clues:
 
1. He sent a Letter to Jimmy Carter asking him to stop sending weapons to the Salvadoran government.
 
2. He was assassinated by the CIA in 1980 after writing the letter.

He is actually in American public school history books.  He's mentioned only once in each of the history books that I have seen from public schools.
