No one circles the wagons like the Buffalo Bills!

Headline: Raider Nation expects LT to play today since its not a playoff game!

Odd, you would make that statement considering that is his 270 straight start and will have that record next week. Brett Favre is the epitome of Iron Man

Alright the Pats are on!
Nothing I love watching more than screens and 2 yard passes!!

Oh crap they actually ran the ball.

EDIT: A DE just picked Brady for a TD!
I have to admit...over the last 2 years the Pats have jumped to my my 2nd most despised team (nothing will top the Cowboys)

Also, cool to see the Bills running a no huddle offense all game long thus far.
EDIT 2: Too bad the Bills had the game won and the returner decided to take it out of the end zone and fumbled... exciting finish though!

Man, how did Buffalo lose that game? Stunning finish. Brady shows why he's one of the best. Those two TD passes in the closing minutes were awesome.

Really sorry display by the Pats up until the very end, particularly on D, against what should have been among the more woeful offenses in the league.  Even then they got lucky with the turnover.  Belichick will be cracking heads this week.  A win is a win but that level of play isn't going to get you that far in the AFC.

Nah, they better thank their lucky stars. If that guy didn't take it from fairly deep out of the endzone (and with their HANDS TEAM still on the field blocking!) Brady would've never had that chance.

But the Pats did it again, and the Bills played well. I was impressed.

Now to watch the Raiders. Their 1-2 punch of McFadden and Bush should be brutal and now add Seymour to defense. Intriguing talent they have on both sides. Let's see what they do

Well, Richard Seymour is playing for the Raiders tonight after all.
Just got his first sack with them.

Raiders D has some great players....with Seymour on the team now (he has already played BOTH ends and Tackle) that defense might be nasty.

Sheesh, watched the end of Pats vs. Bills.  I told my son, after the return fumble, the Bills are done.  Typical game...Pats finds a way to win, Bills find a way to lose.  This is karmic repayment on the Bills for having beat the Seahawks opening game last year.  You just don't mess with those karmic gods.
Can you tell me where we're headin'?
Lincoln County Road or Armageddon.

All this is true...and the Pats typical explosive comeback was impressive but they really should not have even had the chance. Why you'd take it out of the endzone, at that time of the game, it was just stupid.

The Radiers/Chargers game is interesting. Raiders are playing tough. On defense but also on offense. And they just lost a TD to a total BS call.

EDIT: The Raiders have re-taken the lead after they went for it on a 4th & 15! JaMarcus threw the completion and the receiver ran clear into the end zone.
...I like this coach

^ Yeah there are some improvements but I though overall JR was really inconsistant and wild.  Some of those throws made no sense.  Of course maybe he was thinking another route was being run but some were way too high and he is going to kill one of his guys over the middle. The defense looked way better except on that last drive but I think the offense i.e. passing game needs to improve to help them out.  I do like Tom Cable.

I was quite impressed with the Raiders. They played great on Defense, and their O-line manhandled the Chargers all game long.
That being said they crumbled on that last drive, but hey...its tough to stop MOST teams on a 2 minute offense, especially the chargers.

From everything I've seen of JR I wonder about his physical accuracy. He doesn't seem to be TOO bad at reading and making decisions, but his actual throws are way off.
Regardless, IF the Raiders can get things to click they will have an up year.

I thought the Raiders got screwed on that reversed touchdown call at the end of the first half.  I felt that the receiver had possession for a long enough time for it to count.

^ The rule sucks.  What it basically says is the receiver has to keep control all the way to the ground.  OK if the guy is falling when he catches it or diving I can understand.  On this particular play the guy had two steps was tackled and landed on his hip and had control of the ball. He lost control whe the ball had direct contact with the ground  That should be more than enough to be a successful catch.  It cost the Raiders a chance at this game in the end. Hopefully the rules committee will really look at that. Could you imagine a playoff game having this happen?

That rule really sucks.  It should be instantaneous when the receiver has possession and has two feet down in the end zone.

It just seems as though if a ground can't cause a fumble, it also shouldn't be able to cause an incompletion in a case such as this where the receiver got both feet on the ground before he was tackled and hit the ground which then dislodged the ball.

Chargers sucked but still won. Wonder what will happen when they get their act together!
I never post anything anywhere without doing more than basic research, often in depth.

True. That was complete and utter BS.
Is that new?? I have never once heard that they had to keep possession to the ground.
If they have possession, with two feet down (which he did) it's good.

Also I'm all for protecting the QB but I thought a few "roughing the passer" calls were a little much as well.

That "control through to the ground" came in last year I believe.  I just think it is being reviewed way to stringently and no common sense being applied.

Ridiculous.

On that note. Despite LT's claims to the contrary it appears that he has indeed the "30" wall.
Still 15 games to go...but after what we saw the last year, and the fact the guy IS 30 and has had alot of carries in his career. I think he is going downhill now.

Darren Sproles may amaze everyone with his speed and moves, but can that guy be the main back?
Jacob Hester?
What's going on there in San Diego?

The Chargers were a much better team when Sproles was in the game for sure.  Guys like him and Maurice Jones-Drew are tough, small and fast.  I betcha the Raiders didn't even see him on the TD runLOL

Ah well we play Kansas City next week.  Hope springs eternal.
