no problem... I highly recommend that band for what it's worth.    For those that think that art is dead in modern prog.

What does this picture tell you about my favorite band?
What could they have accomplished with lens flare?
You are quite a fine person, and I am very fond of you. But you are only quite a little fellow, in a wide world, after all.

Thanks! (for that other impressed post). I've noticed their name before. I'll check them out. Their image plus that 17-part narrative song-cycle, made me curious.
Over land and under ashes
In the sunlight, see - it flashes
Find a fly and eat his eye
But don't believe in me
Don't believe in me
Don't believe in me

Okay, lolz and all aside - why is everyone basing the quality of the music on the new album by the artwork and press photos?

That's just stupid.

This comment is mainly why I felt like posting something here (Nobody had actually commented the quality of the music when King By-Tor wrote this).

I'm obviously not interested in DT's music, but reading/understanding and communicating with images is something that interests me. The information I get from that image is more than enough to stay away from the upcoming album, and don't need to waste any precious listeningtime checking it out.

Don't you learn anything from experience?

Once again: there are exceptions blablabla... but I'm right most of the time.

Your a complete fool for saying such things, I'm going to listen to it and its either going to blow my mind or be interesting or completely lame. An album cover is meaningless, Its about the music not the front cover.

ahem.... look at this picture... what does it tell you about the music inside...  would you check it out.

Does quality matter a lick if you do not like the style of the music?

Then maybe he shouldn't be bad mouthing some of our favorites artists in a topic devoted to them Angry.

Damn, if Queensr˙che looked this gay during the 80's and was still able o deliver such good albums, that just proves that image and music don't have much in common

Of course it is. If you can deduce music with your eyes and speculate about how it is going to be, all based on a picture, you are deducing the band's musical qualities. So, please tell me how this is NOT about quality?

I think Tate is using his "Smell the Fart" acting skills for that photo

Not so bad, if you ask me. People tend to overreact abut Love Beach saying "OMFG THIS PIECE OF CRAP SUX!!!!!!!!1!1!1!!!!!!!ONEONE!!!", but i actually think it is not so bad. They sound better in your signature though. . . .

EDIT: maybe my problem is that i don't hate anything. Even though i find some album band i will return to listen it again and again, and most of times i change my opinion and end up liking it. That is why i don't give too many low grades. I always try listening the album a couple of months before even thinking about anthing, and still my opinion is always changeble. That's how I am, but then i could be the minority here huh?
