You're being deliberately obtuse in copying only half of my post & thus presenting this bit out of context; the first half of that post explains my position quite clearly. I am sorry you're incapable of understanding why I chose not to spoil a joke by putting it in print; like I said, anyone interested can look at the clips on the link provided earlier.
And, in the words of Jim Royle, "Defuse the idea of evil words that aren't derogatory, my arse!"

FANNY!
+++giggle+++ Also, an unsung hero of the series is his new apprentice; doesn't say a lot, but his facial expressions speak volumes - almost brings to mind the relationship between Wallace & Grommit |

I think you might have misjudged me (assuming that you think I'm being
a prick to you - because that was not my intent). I was actually
applauding, just like that little smiley. If there's one thing I never
do is use a smiley sarcastically. Online communication is difficult
enough as it is without undermining those little fellas.

Still Game on an hour before Saxondale is 100 times more funnier, and as for that t**t Catherine Tate, somebody shoot her. She lives on one line "am i bothered". If i had a shotgun i'd shoot her first.

A short quote from Rush's "Spirit of Radio" tonight, unfortunately he said it was from Hemispheres.

Saxondale is constantly fantastic. What a brilliant character. I like the man (though I don't think I'm supposed too...)
I've been wondering about that Rush mix-up. Was it a genuine research mistake (which seems pretty unlikely if you ask me) or was it deliberate - a very subtle pointer that our man might never actually have worked as a roadie at all...? Maybe he's just a fantasist...? The Mellotron story is another clue.
It's probably just me!

I also wondered whether that was a deliberate error or not. Maybe they threw it in on purpose to see how may saddoes like us would write up and tell them about it (looks up address for Steve Coogan).

Steve Coogan was the "star in a reasonably priced car" on this week's 'Top Gear' - Jeremy Clarkson showed the clip from Saxondale where he did a job for a TV celebrity obviously based on JC...
Apparently Clarkson's wife found it most apt! |

I managed to catch the Insecticide episode and I liked it. The trailers for the show looked terrible, but it was actually much better than I thought it was going to be. Especially if you think of some of Coogan's previous ventures...

There is an album called "Dub Side of The Moon" so I assume it was from that. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00008A7U9/102-6937684-3204902?v=glance&n=5174 btw, I loved the bit last night when he asked the woman he was dining with if they could stop the innuendo. Then his next line was "How's your beef wellington?". |

Do you think he ran away from the Lisa Tarbuck character because deep down he loves Mags, or because she doesn't like Peter Gabriel era Genesis?
