The ruthless reign of terror has come to an end. The evil regime that was lead by CTTE is over.

And here comes the new dictator -  SEBTP!

(this is said in a very light spirit in the Snow dog tradition, so no offense everyone).

It's definitely a toss-up for me.  I'm happy with either CTTE or SEBTP.  It's all good.

Surely Picchio Dal Pozzo should be ahead of PT!

Indeed it should ... Staircase Infinities is ridiculously overrated here.

Good question. As far as I can see, no-one has reviewed the top 3 today, so how can the positions change?

Is it possible to separare LPs from EPs?  For those not from the vinyl world, that means albums and singles!

It's just I don't tend to buy EPs, so that Porcupine Tree EP is going to have less reviews than an album, I should think.  But then again, Picchio Dal Pozzo has 17 ratings too, but that's an obscure Italian Canterbury band.

As somebody said, it's just a list guys, who cares what is number one.

A quick question:

Would you say those albums with less ratings, are better albums?  Or is that a misconception?

CTTE's not deserving of number one, sorry.

Not at all, Snowy. I agree with what you said earlier regarding the light sense of this thread.

Doesn't matter to me which is number 1, I'll still listen to 28 of the top 30 regularly.

Guess which two don't get much play around my house???

If you need a hint I was listening to most of this music when it was first released! That should narrow it down...

(this is said in a very light spirit in the Snow dog tradition, so no offense everyone).

Do I sense a little sarcasm here?

Not at all, Snowy. I agree with what you said earlier regarding the light sense of this thread.

Oh.....thats ok then!

(It would have been ok anyway)

In that case, it was sarcasm...

I don't know about you guys but im over these ratings- who gives a crap? how many freakin reviews of those 3 albums (top3) do we need? If there are fanboys out there writing multiple reviews on those 3- they need to get a life

This is rediculous!!! how can an album like SEBTP with clap such as More Fool Me take over the spot that God meant to be taken by CTTE is beyond me. Close to the edge is the ultimate masterpiece of all times. it's a flawless piece of music, greatest thing ever made in the world, PERIOD. if you disagree you obviously don't know much about music or you're a rap fan and shoud therefore shut the hell up. SEBTP is good, but seriously how can you even compare???! its soooooooooo much weaker than CTTE! in fact, SEBTP is worse than relayer and tfto too. And it's the weakest Gabriel Genesis album ever. Even the best gabriel Genesis album is nowhere close to being as majestically good as CTTE. Jon Andersons voice is like an angel from heavens. Gabriel has a pop voice. thats why his solo career is pop, because he sucks. And collins sucks too.

COME ON PEOPLE RATE CTTE WITH FIVE STARS NOW OR GO TO HELL. IF IT"S NOT NUBBBER ONE IN TWO HOURS, I HATE YOU!!!
