"Music is much like f**king, but some composers can't climax and others climax too often, leaving themselves and the listener jaded and spent."

This album is growing on me, although parts are incredibly amazing, while others are incredibly boring.
|
I agree- I think they need to shorten the next album by about 15 to 20 minutes.
|
You mean shorten the next song by 15 to 20 minutes..... ![Big smile Big smile](https://www.progarchives.com/forum/smileys/smiley4.gif)
I think it is an amazing composition, yea there are low points but the highs keep the low sections well above water....Certainly looking forward to more from Neal and the boys!

My thoughts exactly, though I would only want them to shorten it by ten minutes. Or have 1 or 2 big 25 minute epics, with at least 3 shorter (5-10 min) songs.

My version of Thick as a Brick is only 3 minutes. This was the version that I was always familiar with.

I have the album. Original Masters was the compilation that got me familiar with Jethro Tull. I was just kind of laughing because my scrobble for Thick as a Brick will only take 3 minutes, where yours will take 40+ minutes for the 2 scrobbles. The whole album has never really grown on me as much as others, and I rarely listen to it. I enjoy the 3 minute single though. ![Confused Confused](https://www.progarchives.com/forum/smileys/smiley5.gif)
