That was my first self-titled Wyatt album and it made me a huge fan.  I was already familiar with some of his soft machine stuff.

Released date are often when it it impacted you but recorded dates are when it really happened...

My playlist for today will be as follows:

Brian Eno
Roxy Music
Can
Amon Duul II
Gong
Maybe David Bowie...

Don't know which albums, yet. Except for Ziggy Stardust I have never really experienced the work of any of these artists. My big interests are in the Berlin trilogy, Eno's early albums, his work with Roxy, and the most popular Can, Gong, and Amon Duul II albums.

Right now, exactly, it's Eno's Here Come the Warm Jets.

Am I supposed to listen to the albums shown here or what? I fail to see the purpose of the thread, yes, this is a serious question.

Posted By: rushfan4
Date Posted: May 06 2011 at 14:15
The basic purpose of this thread is to share with the "Rest of the class" what you are listening to at this time.  Mainly it is just a thread full of pictures of album covers, but once in a while a post piques another person's interest and a conversation ensues.

Creatures Of The Street by Jobriath.
Used vinyl for $1.00.  Seems like a David Bowie style, Broadway type concept album.
Took a gamble with this one and so far I'm pleased. Smile
