In any case next year with the change in engines and KERS systems we may see quite some mixing, it's not at all clear that Red Bull will keep the dominance they have now.

Not that I wanted Kimi to go to RBR...I would have just preferred it not been Riccardo. But I understand that's how it works there.

I think Ricciardo will surprise you next year.

It seems the Kimi to Ferrari rumors are gaining some serious pace at the moment but we'll have to wait until at least Monza to find out anything definite on that.

Also, Tony Stewart has been ruled out for the rest of the year with Mark Martin taking his seat.

I hope so!

And yeah...terrible shame for Tony. Them old bones don't hold up like they used to.

We shall see. I just cant make predictions. He has been touted as a fast driver and top talent, just we havnt been able to see it on full display. It will be fun to see what he'll do in RBR, which even with changes I expect to be a top team still.
Mark Martin, damn that guy was in his 50s a few years back! He is a beast.

Well that was exciting, for a while there I thought Di Resta was going to get his first pole position. I swear any one of 7 drivers looked capable of nabbing pole after Q2, I'm surprised Massa pitted after his first lap in Q3, if he'd kept going he probably would have lined up 4th at least as he'd have been the first to make it onto a final lap with the Red Bulls and Hamilton. Spectacular job by Van der Garde to end up 3rd after Q1.

Button to start 6th!  That's dang near a victory for that team the way this year has gone.

And the Bristol night race is on!  The track really isn't what it once was, but the racing is better this year than in recent years.

Not as exciting a race as I was hoping for, bit of a routine win for Vettel , though everybody else were in tough scraps. Dynamite start from Jenson almost got him 2nd at the first turn and he kept the Mercedes and Webber in sight all afternoon. First retirement since his return for Kimi with brake failure, just as he was putting a move on Massa. Ricciardo went from 19th to 10th so a good drive from him, it seems the 2nd Red Bull seat is a done deal from him (Webber said it's been signed on Ausi TV but RB aren't saying anything yet.)

Kubica won a tough scrap with Elfyn Evans on Rally Germany today, apparently they swapped the lead 4 times on Saturday, and the attrition amongst the WRC cars was so high that he finished 5th overall. That's his 3rd win I think and gives him the lead of the WRC2 championship. If he can wrap that up soon Citreon are thinking of putting him in a WRC car for Rally GB.

Bah...with the lack of speed center I can't even get highlights of races I've missed.

Which was most of this one...saw the beginning and the end...so I guess I saw the bits that are important.

Well talk about a bust. I actually went home to catch this race, it's Spa after all and....we have FS1 but the race didn't seem to be playing? Perhaps we don't actually have the channel? Regardless, load of bollocks.

This is so typical eh? Fox ripping me a new anus and shoving their 4 bollocks into my 2 anuses. Oh this really leaves a sour tasteClown
What can ya do? Seems like it wasn't anything great, and certainly the result was typical. My Kimi win certainly was a flop!
That shan't stop me though! I'll be bold and say Alonso wins Italy and Singapore. Yes, the rare two race call.
Italy...eh I have nothing more than "it's Ferrari" but he has an actual good shot for Singapore I think.

Isn't F1 on NBC in America, or is that next year?

Alonso was extremely fast in a straight line which is always useful at Monza.

Hm, not sure I really need to look into this!

Yeah, I really do expect a good result at Monza, but also Ferrari bias!

Yes, NBC Sport's Network carries the races now in America.

I believe they are replaying it tonight if you are really interested.

I think FS1 will become more and more irrelevant to the motor racing world as time goes on. Esp the news side of it.

Well, I've already mentioned they'll be carrying the new Formula E championship when it starts next year and it sounds like they intend to really promote it. Remains to be seen if they'll pick up anything else.

Yeah. And they still show various sportcar races as of this year. They also may still be showing motorcycle racing but I haven't really been looking for those. And, of course, various Nascar things (like qualifying and practice).

But they got rid of any realted to motorsport, or drastically reduced it. Not that I really watched it, but they have a show called NASCAR Race Hub, which was an hour show every weeknight (except Fridays), now it's a half an hour just on Mondays. NASCAR raceday (a prerace show) was also drastically cut for this previous race at Bristol...perhaps it was just a one time thing, only time will tell on that one. Haven't seen any monster truck, off road racing (like the Lucas Oil stuff), World Of Outlaw stuff/type stuff (which admittedly they never played alot of before, but still...) or any of that crazy stuff like figure 8 racing or even drifting competition since either. Also, No Speedcenter, no windtunnel...no wrap up/overview shows of any type...I just feel like if I miss something I've missed it for good now, unlike before when I did, I could just watch Speedcenter or even just the bottom scroll of Speed and get information.

But...as I've said before...maybe I'm just jumping the gun. It's still in it's infancy and I'm sure they are still adding programs and all that.

Stunning lap from Hulk to go third and it looks like Alonso and Ferrari are really falling out, with Fernando apparently calling them stupid over the radio for messing up the tow strategy for the last run.
