What is happening in Jerusalem?

Of course, I also thank Christian, Steve but also all the other friends who took part in this discussion.

These days, the news in Italy are talking about a truce between Israel and Hamas, and everyone is happy.

No one wonders what happened, everyone comments as if there is an unnecessary war between two states that hate each other. And everyone celebrates the (temporary) end of the war.

But peace is not the absence of war, peace is the end of oppression. And the oppression that the Palestinian people are undergoing goes on every day. Except that in the news it is only mentioned when they rebel with violence and then the Israeli people also suffers, to some extent, oppression.

This thread will go on, for those interested, talking about what happens in that tormented land day after day in "peacetime", to understand the dynamics that then chronically give rise to violence.

My approach is not that of a Palestinian, my approach is that of a nonviolent who tries to understand the dynamics of the conflict, criticizing every part of the conflict, this is the reason why I rely on Jewish nonviolent activists, because certainly they work every day together with some Palestinians for the end of all oppression.
