My preferences aren't quite as baked-in with the early stuff. They can shift a bit from year to year. Right now my fave is AHM, then Umma, Saucerful, and Meddle. 

Meddle is far from my favorite Floyd album, but it is a special album somehow, internally. It is the album I chose to pop in my car CD player as I drove to the funeral of each of my parents. It was just kind of automatic. It turned out to be a good choice for that, allowing my mind to hold onto something that wasn't too in my face, something that got me across town intact with something of a calming effect.

Yes, but I feel like including the debut: Meddle > Saucerful > Piper > AHM > Ummagumma

Love the four first here more than anything Pink Floyd released after Meddle (Doesn't mean I don't like their 1970's classics. Only that I like these even more)

Hi,

I'm gonna play all 4 of the albums at the same time, and see if something shows up that helps me vote ... some of these rip up my mind more than any dope ever did!

I'm not sure I ever listened to any PF and thought that one album was better than the other ... it was PF!

Ummagumma first choice - the live album is just the essential Pink Floyd. It's tight between the other three. I go for Meddle based on the strength of Echoes. Saucerful > AHM really on the mood of the day. Love 'em all.
