I'm surprised at how much Vol 4 goes under people's radar. Really unfortunate. The album's really high quality.

I'm surprised the first three albums are winning on progarchives.  In my opinion the second three have heavier prog influences.  Hell, Rick Wakeman is even on Sabbath Bloody Sabbath, that album and Sabotage have strings and a choir, etc.

I think Vol4 is a great album that is really held back by the track "changes." Just my opinion. My favorite Sab record is SBS.

Yeah Ozzy does Elton John sort of thing. Still it's easily counterbalanced - obscured really... ok, obliterated by the magnificence of Wheels Of Confusion.

doesn't really matter really does it... the highest rated Rush album is .. Moving Pictures isn't it.... an AOR /arena rock album.

even though this is PA's....  progressive/prog content really only matters in band evaluations for adding them.. as far as what people like...be it polls like this or the damned rating based review system here... all bets are off.  Just like Genesis... there were bands did their best albums either prior to .. or more often once they moved past being prog.
