1969, Julie & Candy and well pretty much every tune on it are like golden jello sliding down a Brazilian babe's bottom. Smooth baby, smooth!

I'm not even going to try to give a pity vote or anything like that - let's be realistic here.
I'll continue with the crowd.

Oh, I wouln't really know who to choose. Actually, I know very little of Canadian prog. The one I have the most is from Rush (thanks to PA), whom of course are great. But I actually knew Harmonium before, and I still like "Histoires sans paroles" better than any song from Rush themselves. Also, I just got my first album from Devin Townsed, "Terria", and I'm really loving it. Once again, I like it better than any full album by Rush.

Listening to GY!BE right now, Harmonium are awesome, but it has to be Rush. They've probably released the most truly great prog rock albums by quite a way

My favorite Canadian band is: The Band. Not prog , but it wasn't specified by the OP that it had to be.

Just like the guys above my first thought was Boards of Canada too !! However as they're from Scotland...... I still voted other. FM, responsible for an all-time top 10 album of mine, Black Noise.

You might want to retry this without Rush
