Hard to pick a favourite. Phantom from the early days The clairvoyant from the middle period And ghosts of navigators from the recent era (though there are plenty to choose from) Edited by wjohnd - June 23 2012 at 13:52 |

Ooooh, tough. If I had to pick just one, I guess it'd be "Blood Brothers." Such great melodies and tight musicianship! "The Talisman," "Fear of the Dark," "Isle of Avalon," and "The Journeyman" are also very high on my list.

At this moment it's Starblind. An underrated song, really.

Actually, i have few favourites, but I would go with 7th son or The Rime, obviously coming from my top two Maiden albums.

Hard to choose but Seventh Son of a Seventh Son is the first that springs to mind.
The last half especially, one of Maiden's best moments ever!

D'ano era: Phanton Of The Opera
Dickinson era: Rime of The Ancient Mariner Blaze era: Sign of The Cross/The Clansman The last 4 albums are amazing, it has probably their most progressive stuff, songs like Dream of Mirrors, The Talisman, Starblind, The Thin Line Between Love and Hate, Dance Of Death, Greater Good of God, etc....truly epic.

Sign of the Cross is of course the best Baley era song, but it's just way better when Dickinson sings it (aka Rock In Rio 2000)
