I've only listened to it once but first impressions are very good.Mind you,I have been a big Mastodon fan since Remission and have liked how they have progressed and grown with each album.This album is in the same vein as CtS but the songs are shorter and more concise.

Country Death Song is on my favourite Violent Femmes album - Hallowed Ground. One of the weirder albums I know when it comes to style, or rather lack of it.
