I will surprise no one by saying I own a Prius.
You are quite a fine person, and I am very fond of you. But you are only quite a little fellow, in a wide world, after all.

I planted 20 yew and three elder trees in my garden this month ... once they have matured they could in theory sequester 1/4 of the carbon my car chucks into the atmosphere each year. Given that those trees constitute less than 5% of the total tree, bush, plant, grass and other assorted green stuff I grow in my garden, I won't be losing any sleep over the 10 miles a day I drive to get to work and back in order to earn the money pay for all that. Tongue

Carbon footprints are delicious.

I'm seeing a number of American cars in UK/European posts. Figured it might be different.

Eh?Shocked Which thread are you looking at? The only "american" car posted by an European is Jim's Ford C-MAX- and I believe that's an European model. (James' Astra doesn't count either even if they are owned by GM).

Never underestimate a truck. Makes moving so much easier.

SUV's are just annoying. Usually come with a hellish litter of 5 blonde spawn right from a baseball game messing sh*t up in my store.

Mmm ranting off topic.

Oh and that damage was not caused by me either.  Some idiot drove into my car when it was parked and I was tucked up in bed at 4 a.m.

I don't fit into compact cars very comfortably.  My SUV makes travelling in the snow during the winter much easier.
