They beat the teams they should've, lost to those I expected...managed to pull out a win against Michigan and there was some improvement over the season. Average team that will go 7-5 it appears.

I'll take it. At least there's a lot to look forward to in the upcoming years.

And Paterno is back for another year right?

Yes, and I am certain he's going until he physically can't anymore...
Even that means he dies while on the field LOL

Oh Joepa lol it's bound to happen.

That would be truly epic.....I'm sure that is exactly where he would like to pass on. You don't need to move as a coach to manage a team and win games......its all in his head in how to win...I mean he has like 6,000 wins or something....
Big smile

They'd stuff him at halftime and have him back out on the sidelines coaching in the 3rd quarter.

Time always wins.

Yeah, but we're playing Northwestern, we didn't really expect them to put up much of a struggle Wink

Ohio State won, I'm guessing.  No problem there, but we still need Michigan State to lose if we want to make the conference.

LOL Northwestern
Big Ten is a clusterf**k.

Michigan State, OSU and Wisconsin all at 11-1

Mich St beat Wisconsin, Wisconsin beat OSU Wacko
I have no idea how it works...but I guess that puts Michigan State on top? Shocked (Never thought I'd say that)

Michigan State is on top, yes.  If we (Wisconsin) want to make it to the conference championship at the Rose Bowl, we need to win next week and have Michigan State lose.  Ohio State is inconsequential at this point.

Wait next week?

Am I missing something huge? Wasn't this the last weekend?
Badgers and Spartans are both 11-1. 12 games are all we play. (Since we don't have a conference game) Confused
?

You were beginning to freak me out, I was like what the hell did I miss?
So, looks like Michigan State is going to the Rose Bowl?

Well, I'm cool with that. It's not OSU or Iowa or Michigan (lol nah they had no chance) so fine by me Thumbs Up
Go Spartans

Yes, very.
I would also be fine if Wisconsin got it though.

But given what you just said...it will most likely be given to Ohio State Cry
Edit: Also means Wisconsin will probably be chosen over Mich St since they've been more impressive as of late (some BIG games while the Spartans have struggled). Shame since Mich State should probably be Big 10 champs.

Ah well, this is why I stop caring about all that...

As someone who loves running, watching GA Tech is just something LOL

I don't quite see the need for the triple option at DIV I-A level (though it absolutely works for smaller time schools). You could use the spread to neutralize bigger/better teams and GA Tech is no slouch, they can get a good QB if he wanted. I guess it does keep the opponent off the field! LOL

Good lord....411 rushing yards on 77 attempts and another game blow, potentially, by a bad kick
And that OSU/OU game was nuts.

Arkansas should move up.......and LSU drop to 7-8...but who knows with the BS...I mean BCS Big smile. Like I said before, had I had any money I would have put it on Arkansas to beat LSU...I guess I would have won a lot of money Cry.

This sure puts another twist into this whole BCS krapp system.
Auburn vs Oregon for the BCS trophy......but after that then what?

Cam may have had no clue...but he probably did. Even if so, what's the kid gunna do?
Really 99% would've done what he did.

But whatever that's something else. He sure is one great player.

Stole a laptop at Florida, for that matter. The kid's bad news, for sure, but he wouldn't be the first NFL player to get away with murder. Too bad the Ravens don't need a quarterback.

Epic failure......they should drop to 6-7 area....I didn't even know Nevada had a football team LOL

Well, now you do. UNLV is terrible, but UN-Reno (the Wolfpack who beat Boise) are quite decent and are joining the MWC the year after next. I've mentioned this before, but I see the MWC becoming the next power conference.

Yep. When GT gets off its game and starts doing fancy stuff, they tend to lose. I don't think I've seen anyone actually stop the triple option, but I've seen teams mutilate awkward pass attempts and broken draw plays. I just don't know if GT will ultimately have success, though, because recruits will want the appearance of being great. It's about flash, and while GT may win 10 games in a season, nobody notices because they do it 6 yards at a time.

Great week for kickers, wasn't it?

Gotta love the brilliance of Jordan Jefferson. Picked up the ball like he was going to throw it away (smart move) and then just takes a sack. That kid may have physical talents, but he doesn't have that football sense. Can't feel the pocket, can't read the defense to save his life, picks a receiver before the play starts, etc, etc. But man, the SEC is such a sad conference. Too good for its own good. Let's hope that South Carolina doesn't ruin the SEC's 7th national championship.

Also, did I mention that Oregon is not in my top 5? Such a horribly-overrated team.
Hail Eris!

Now I do agree that Oregon should not be #1 ranked.....The whole system just stinks. Its not that Oregon scores a lot...they score a lot because no teams in PAC10 have defense.....its west coast offense style, score a lot and hope the other team scores less.

NCAAFB is almost over.....another yr of the BS of the BCS.
