Travis & Fripp album is added under Fripp. Such addition doesn't look right, such album should be add under Travis ( but he is not the artist ,included on PA).

Should this album stay there, and then next (new) album of Travis & Fripp (live,2010) should be added, or they shouldn't be presented between Fripp's solo discography?

Not long ago we had similar situation with addition of Plant/Page album, BTW.

As rule, collaborations between two (and more) artists are added under the first artist , mentioned on the album cover, name. Another version is some collaborations are added as separate entries.

All collaborations under the name of "Fripp+..." are placed in Fripp's discography ,there is no problem at all

My question is easy - should I add Travis & Fripp live album from 2010 to Fripp's albums list, or shouldn't (and than above mentioned album, added already, should be removed from there as well)?

Toyah and fripp has Toyah first. Do you think we should also delete that? As I said in the other thread. Admin can decide on this one. They are the deleters anyway.Tongue

I would vote to keep it though.

No problem for me with any decision. Just want to know how to behave with such addition now and in future

I think I nominated Theo Travis for inclusion once. I'll have to have a look.

It got closed without an update. Cry Doesn't look like the new bands team ever saw it. It was never like that in my day. Wink

The new "new bands" "team" does not do scavanging, thanks Tongue

I am looking into Travis' MySpace.

Also, I thought that the order of the names on a collaborations is important only when more of the artists have pages on PA, and when only one of the collaborators is on PA, the albums goes on his page regardless of the order of the names on the album cover.

Possibly yes, but I am not sure. It will be nice to hear comments.

If it works as you said ,Alex, I afraid PA could be filled by huge amount of free jazz, avant jazz, avant-garde, avant-punk,etc collaborations of once added artists, whenever they collaborate with tens and hundred of other artists of very different musical direction

I did a quick check of the JRF team thread and Travis was discussed for addition around 2007-2008, but to no end since only one team member seemed to know his output.
