Topic: The best Black Sabbath opener! Posted: August 10 2010 at 05:32 |
Very strong arsenal of bloody good openers! Difficult choice. I´m expecting a win of song from Ozzy-era and curious for results of newer BS albums...

It's got to be Black Sabbath from the debut. A real statement of intent to kick off their career!

I have heard only three of them, so I won't vote.
Wheels of Confusion is my favourite of these.

I find it astonishing that no one has yet voted for the epic "Wheels of Confusion." It's just my favorite Sabbath song, hands down.

Another poll of mine "The most Black Sabbath Prog Song" prefered the song War Pigs although I´ve omitted this one. So, therefore I´m surprised that War Pigs has 3 votes already.

As openers, you can't beat Black Sabbath, Hole in the Sky, and Neon Knights. Sweet Leaf is also pretty cool. But I vote for Hole in the Sky because it needs some more votes, and it kicks off my favorite Sabbath album.

We don't want to know anything about how you spent your nights with Mary Jane. Show some decency, there are underage people on this forum! On a more serious subject, I really can't choose : "Black Sabbath" is historical and striking, "War Pigs" is catchy, groovy and devastating, just as "Hole In The Sky"... "Neon Knights" is a bomb... So, I voted "Trashed". Silly me.

Just like witches at black masses Evil minds that plot destruction Sorcerers of death's construction In the fields the bodies burning As the war machine keeps turning Death and hatred to mankind Poisoning their brainwashed minds Oh lord yeah!
