Exactly, he is just like Chad Pennington. Guy is reliable, consistent, wont lose the game but won't win it....but that can only last so long...he's bound to lose some games. And as you guys mentioned when down he is incapable of making a comeback. *sigh chad pennington*

They can always run the ball and their defense is pretty good but they won't win in the playoffs without that QB

Oh, and he led a great drive where he threw a TD pass on a 4th down, then threw for the 2 point conversion.

Clap

What a game!!

Q:  Is Green Bay capable of making a big play and not ruining it with a penalty?

Is Aaron Rodgers the second coming of Daunte Culpepper?  (panics too soon and becomes a running back?)

More like Jeff George. Puts up nice stats, but loses anyway. great for fantasy football, not so great for Green Bay. At some point in time, Rodgers is going to have to take the blame for the Packers recent losing ways. Suspect o-line and Defense,,,sure,,,, but when the game is on the line, I can guarantee you Rodgers will fail under the pressure

It's the kids second season and he's doing a great job. Maybe if he didn't get sacked 8 times a game he wouldn't panic and run the ball. When you're getting sacked and hurried that much it makes it so much harder to have that internal clock. Sometimes he makes bad throws because he's not setting his feet and stepping into them, but this again comes from no faith in his O-line.

Well I still humbly disagree about Rodgers. EVERYONE acknowledges the O-Line (the worst in the NFL!) and the leaky Defense yet he still "deserves the blame" and keep in mind, the guy is only in his second as a starter... It's taken some QB's 3 or 4 before they hit their prime. I have faith in Rodgers, and when the team comes around....y'all will see.

For the record, Favre has been playing amazingly and with that O-LINE the vikings have, I think he has enough protection to make it through the season

Didnt see the 49ers/Bears game since I dont have NFL network at school, but Cutler threw 5 picks?

What the hell is going on? Guy goes from one of the better (if not top) QBs in the nfl to complete crap. Is there something in the water of Chicago that stops QB's from being good?

I saw a bit of the 4th quarter, but the game I did watch of Chicago earlier in the season, I felt Cutler threw a few intentionally because they weren't blocking very well up front and he was pissed..  Think I even mentioned it in this thread, saying something like Lovie didn't deserve this... Don't know if this game followed suit, but this prima donna needs to be pushed quietly out of the league in my opinion..

Well, obviously just speculation and no way to know....but I wouldn't put it past Cutler to do such a thing...
Good QB but a complete tool, and we say that about alot of athletes but he really is a different level.
Even if he really is just having a bad year, his level of play has been pretty unacceptable. 3 games with 3 picks or more, for such an established QB?????

So the Steelers give up another game to cincy through sheer stupidity.  This time the utter incompetence of offensive coordinator Bruce Arians was in full display.  Four trips to the red zone = four field goals.  No more than 5 plays the entire game were off before the play clock had ticked down inside 5 second.  Everyone who has ever watched a Steelers' game could tell you, the hurry up is when Roethlisberger is most effective as it is when he can call his own plays (takes Arians out of the mix).  As long as Bruce Arians continues to be the Steelers' offensive coordinator the offense will struggle to score with anything other than the hurry up.  It is so damn frustrating to watch the defense play so well and get screwed over by one bald dumbass with a clipboard.

Time always wins.

I am really liking how the Bengals are playing. Palmer has always been a Top 5 QB talent wise, who is finally healthy and apparently really matured from all his off time. They have a HUGE O-line and just force the run down your throat and most importantly their D is really playing good.

Opposed to the Broncos whose defense is starting to slip, (27 points given up to the Redskins??) Orton who is a mediocre QB in a conservative offense, the Bengals are legit.

Also the Eagles just frustrate me. The bain of the Giants existence last season and thus far but they always look so bad otherwise. Thus far ran the ball 6 times for 2 yards, and a few of those cam on the goal line in which they could not make that 1 yard. WTF? I know the run is becoming obsolete, the pass is here yadda yadda but I still maintain you need to be able to run the ball, at least sometimes. The Eagles just annoy me

On a good note: It appears that the Cowboys are on the verge of proving, YET AGAIN, that they can not win an important game.

A much better team all around then the Packers, yet currently down 17 - ZERO. These last few drives have been plagued with penalties and Romo looking like a deer on the tracks.
Best team in the NFL when things are good, but cant win a close game/one their behind to save their lives.

Wow, this Sidney Rice is something to watch.....200 yards today......and the team was really pretty out of sync.

I haven't been able to watch the Bengals yet.. Looking forward to seeing them play..

Haha, they've been saying the Eagles need to get some swagger and attitude, and quit finessing so much..

So looking forward to this NE vs. IND game, guess NE's DL is banged up, which is very bad news for their corners, haha.. Record night for Peyton?

The Eagles game was ridiculous to watch, but 3 of my 4 most hated teams in the NFL lost today which made it about a winning day for me.

Bengals take down the Steelers in a very entertaining game.

Green Bay rolls over the Cowboys. I didn't get to see this one, but still a win for me.

And the Colts defeat the Pats in one of the best football game's I've watched in a long time. Nothing is like seeing Bill Belichick getting punished for his cockiness and then running off the field like the spoiled baby he is.

COLTS WIN!!

One hell of a comeback. Peyton led the perfect drive, the D stopped the Pats on 4 downs, and put in the touchdown.
Also, for someone who usually makes the perfect calls and time management...Belichek really screwed up.
Ah well. Pats and Cowboys both go down = A very happy me

And you are right equality. The Pats FINALLY got burned for going on a 4th down. They really are so f*cking arrogant. Luckilly for them Belichek doen't tolerate sh*t, must be what stops the team from destroying themselves like Dallas.
Also gotta love how Brady and Bill walk off the field without even pretending to congratulate the other team.

Any worries on behalf of the Ravens should have instantly be soothed by the knowledge that they were up against the Browns.
Curse your sudden but inevitable betrayal.

When I heard Ronnie Brown was down for the season I was thinking Phins were done.
They don't have a great set of receivers (their best are Davone Bess and Ted Ginn....) a n00b QB and the heart of their offense is down.
But, maybe Ricky CAN carry the team and not just be a complimentary role.

I've always liked him. Good guy, smart and had his issues to deal with while being a huge star. I'm glad his career has rebounded.
