The Buccs game I caught they were running an interesting offense under Josh Johnson. I was actually kind of impressed with his play. Granted, he's a filler for 6 weeks, (end of they year MAYBE?) until thy put in Josh Freeman....but I was impressed with him. His passing wasn't too bad and gotta love a small QB in the NFL running the option!

Freeman's a good kid. His father, Ron Freeman, was a local politician here in Kansas City and the Freeman's attended my mom's church. She actually babysat Josh a few times.
Good to see a local kid making his statement.

Well, just got outplayed today. There were some major BS calls, (one cost a TD) and our secondary is beat up (and went against that insane offense) but still....just got outplayed today.
I was disappointed in the Giants defensive play calling. Hardly and blitzing. I know its the Saints...but the whole lay back and react coverage is NOT how we play. The Pats didn't scare them....why the Saints?

Well the Saints just taught the G man that they are NOT the big boys on the block. No-one is stopping New Orleans this year.
Minnesota just dodged a bullet. Yet another good performance on the offensive side of things, but WAY too conservative in the Red-Zone. Clearly the defense isn't all that its cracked up to be, but neither are the Ravens for that matter.
Flacco is a stud. The Ravens have something special there along with a good running and recieving corps.
Brett Favre just keeps on winning., silencing all of you nay sayers. Good thing Favre isn't on Green Bay anymore as the coaching there sucks and standing behind that awful offensive line is like standing in the middle of a freeway, although Rodgers holds onto the ball WAY too long. He's on pace to get sacked about 80 times this year. They had an off week to address it, and still allowed 5 sacks to Detroit of all teams

*Cracks Knuckles, deep breath* WELL....no one can deny injuries played a role. The Giants back up players have played superbly, but they are not Aaron Ross, Corey Webster, and Kenny Phillips. And they had to go against the Saints offense. I'd like to see another team do any better with 3 of their 4 secondary starters out. And maybe what I said is the answer to this question: What was the Defensive Coordinator thinking? The Giants do not play this lay back and wait defense. They brought no pressure, and the Saints O-Line is too good to rush 4 all game. Even for our D-Line Ah well, shake it off and move on. Saints got a solid team finally, gunna be a great season for them. And Favre played well but better thank God, his teams defense practically gave the game away and that Kicker missed a not so difficult FG. I'm looking forward to Bears and Falcons tonight

I get no special pleasure from the Saints being great, trust me. But the fact is that they are, and it wouldnt be the 1st time a great team blows it in the playoffs, so let us hope. I just have a feeling it is going to be their year is all, and if it is, then great, the fans deserve some success from that team.
A not so difficult kick is an understatement. 44yd indoors should have been a chip shot, but as Favre said in the post game interview "They deserved to win that game and we deserved to win that game, unfortunately only one team can.

And to cement my draftnik status this year, Bucs traded our former 4th overall DE Gaines Adams to CHI for a 2nd round pick in 2010
PS. I'm happy about this, because I spent most of last season watching him sitting at Raymond James, he seemed to rush past the play, and was ineffective for 90% of the snaps.. He reminded me of DE Eric Curry.

Their QB options are:
A) Kerry Collins
B) Vince Young

The Steelers won again but managed to make it a lot closer than it should have been again. Over 500 yards of total offense and only 27 pts, only Bruce Arians could manage that. Still concerned about the defense as well. How do you give up 7 offensive points to the cleve brownies?

Yeah everyone keeps saying that, and Granted Kerry Collins has been terrible thus far, (I guess that could impact the running game as well) but he doesn't play on the defense....It's the same D from last year have they forgotten how to play? And sooo many stupid mistakes on both sides. It's like the entire team has regressed to rookies.
I was wondering myself why the Steelers had so many yards and such a low score considering Ah well, OH and the Eagles lose to Oakland....damn

Enterteining game last sunday night, it might seem like the bears and falcons are raising a rivalry, very tought game and many errors...
I did not see the other games but that titans lose... awful, it might cost the job to the HD, hope not.
Steelers wins over browns good but i would like to see that they win to the ravens.
Saints seems invincible, but will see...
Oakland beats eagles, that's now is a really new thing.
Tonight game looks interesting, the broncos vs. chargers, i hope that broncos have a clean win.
Sanchez of jets may have starts to pay the price of the rookie.
so far so good.

Yeah, I love how before the game they were talking about how Sanchez never played a game in temperatures lower than 55 degrees... Welcome to New Jersey Mark! The cold and boos must've been rough, but hey he'll develop. I think we've been spoiled with Ryan and Flacco and expect every rookie to be gold now.
