Hey,

Lately, I haven't been on PA a lot. Partly because some parts of it are becoming really depressing. Everybody is bragging about their girl problems and how much life sucks.

There's still room for joy in life.

I need proof here!

Tongue

RIP in bossa nova heaven.

Yeah, I noticed there has been some pretty 'emo' stuff going on in The Velvet Room, and I think it's pretty lame. People need to learn how to loosen up and have a good time. Just go on an aimless drive through downtown, or go camping for the hell of it. Just have fun for the sake of fun.Hug

In school today the people who played flute in band were wearing these shirts that said "Flute Revolution" and every time I saw a person in one I said "VIVA LA FLUTE!!"  I was thinking of saying "THATS SO BERN" but then people would think I'm weirder than I actually am. Tongue

EMONESS SUCKS GIANT MONKEY BALLS, LOL!!!

That's a great story, Mike! And yes, I hate Emoness. It has seriously ruined the Velvet Room! Instead of having a good time and talking with friends I hear noting but people complaining about girls!

I often say in my head (but not out loud), that something is "So Bern!".

Bern is the new revolution.

Worship Bern, as he is master of the tall ones.

We're going to build a statue for you Bern, or were going to 15 years ago or 15 forward...

Rejoice rejoice, the Québécois is here to save us all from the apocalypse known as neo-prog!

Not always, David Jackson doesn't always play a cheerful flute.  Listen to My Room (Waiting in Wonderland). Wink

“Thick As A brick” cures all traces of emoness.

I don’t understand why everyone is so depressed around here, and I’m sure that telling each other your problems with girls isn’t going to solve much.

Yeah, Thick as a Brick is such a happy record! In fact, it changed my life in many different ways. Probably one of the most important things in my life. And all those happy flutes!

Nah, give me a good old depressing 'cello any day!

I like depressing music, but I'm not depressed or sad, I just like it more than happy stuff.

No, it lacks colour and a whiff of sarcasm.

All that matters at the end of the day, is my sig (which I stole off Ansen).
