I don't really think there is an embarrising type of music. If we were in a pop or commercial modern rock forum people would be saying they are embarrassed by owning a Yes or King Crimson album. What makes a Phil Collins or Michael Jackson Cd embarrasing? Sure, I really don't like them, but a lot of people do, so I think you should be embarassed about these as much as you are your prog Albums.....So, I'm not sure I have anything real "embarassing", but do the Soundtracks so the Lord of The Rings count? Hey! Ity's good classical music that is epic, and it got me to eventually appreciate prog!

Billy Joel is one of my favorite non-prog artists.  I have almost all of his albums, and have seen him several times in concert.

I just bought one of the worst, but it's not not really embarrassing, Rick Wakeman's "The Family Album." It's so Censored awful.

My most embarrssing CD is a Peter Cetera CD I got for a quarter a few years ago when I liked Chicago a lot, it's REALLY bad too. Oh wait, I have a Taking Back Sunday CD, now that's a guilty pleasureEmbarrassed.

Actually, there are a few wakeman albums are are even worse.
 
This is possibly the shortest review I have and is embarrasing, but it may stop a buyer from being exposed to this dullfest.

1 stars A very personal album for Rick Wakeman, but unfortunately, it disappoints on a huge level.

As the title implies, this album is dedicated to Rick Wakeman's family. Each track is dedicated to a member of his family, including pets. As a result, there are many short tracks in this album.

The album is all instrumental, and tries to portray a painting of sound for each person. It may succeed, but that does not save the album. The Family Album is a tedious, and uninteresting collection of shory little pieces.

Highlights : Nina, Kookie, Dad

Let Downs : Adam, Jenna, Wiggles

My Grade : F

I was searching on Amazon.com and found a very cheap Riverside album for like 3$, now at the time I didn't know much about the band or their album names, I had just heard hype and so I bought it. Then much to my suprise when the album arrives it's not the Polish prog-metal Riverside but the English pop Riverside. CryEmbarrassed

When I was 10 I was one of those Censored kids obsessed with Pokemon. Needless to say, I had a Pokemon cd with maybe 10 songs about the show, and one of the songs is a rap Dead . This might actually be my first cd I've ever owned.

I have this on vinyl. But I must admit, I'm rather proud of it. The music (from '88) is just as you'd expect.
