Ok this I've bottled up for some time and I am now ready to ask you all one question:
What the hell do any of you see in Wish You Were Here? Aside from being surrounded by far superior albums (Dark Side and Animals), the songs just aren't as good in my opinion.
Actually, same goes for Larks Tounges in Aspic
And the entire discography of Pain of Salvation

I don't like Pre-DSOTM Pink Floyd nor do I like Jon Anderson's singing/lyrics.
And The Human Equation isn't good, it's just not, I'm sorry.

LOL! I had to look up "naff" on dictionary.com and you know what? I agree with calling Dream Theater naff. Or more fitting of an American, I guess, they are most definitely clichéd. This doesn't mean I don't recognize their instrument playing abilities. And I do like most of what they have written.
But damn! Naff works well.
And for some reason, they are fun to pick on.

You should be ashamed of considering them the best Prog band ever instead of being ashamed of not owning all their albums. (j/k)
