I love motw, in fact, I almost prefer them to Kayo Dot, even though they are two slightly different animals.....

Yes I have heard Spoonion! Interesting to say the least...and rather humorous.
Thanks man! It was exhausting to write, trust me! It's very difficult to put how I feel about this band into words... |

Damn right! I'm listening to that one right now Seriously, the dynamic quality of the mix in last 2 MotW recordings (atleast in the re-releases) amazes me. Edited by Dominic - June 01 2008 at 21:20 |

I think Leaving Your Body Map is my favorite MotW/Kayo Dot release. |

Wow. I just wrote my "Bath" review, and it was a hard thing to do. Too much to say. It ended up being quite long. Here's a link if you're interested:
Bath review What's scary is that, later, I have to do my "Leaving Your Body Map" review....hopefully, it'll be a bit shorter, eh Also, I just wanted to say, I love this band. |

Astral Projection is kind of a synonym of sorts for an out-of-body experience, but it's a bit different in many ways, namely that it has more in common with lucid dreaming than with out-of-body experiences, but the difference is; Astral Projection is much more spiritually based and kind of occult, really, as far as I know. But it is basically a reinterpretation of a lucid dream as far as I can tell. Lucid dreaming is really cool I think. I wish I could learn to temper my dreams as such... EDIT: I meant to quote your previous post but people get the point. I answered the question at least, haha. Edited by king volta - May 30 2008 at 00:23 |

I have heard that Maudlin Of The Well's Lyrics are about Astral Projection... Is anybody out there who can tell me what it exactly is?

MY DYING BRIDE is one of the best bands on this bloody Earth, and I suggest you should...wait, you all MUST check'em out (who didn't yet). Especially albums like "The Angel and The Dark River" (1995), "Like Gods of the Sun" (1996), "The Dreadful Hours" (2001), "Songs of Darkness, Words of Light" (2004) and DVD "Sinamorata" (2007) They even were on the Archives here (added by Trickster F.), but later removed (along with KATATONIA) |

Yes this is what I was thinking...I do NOT think they are avant metal at all, but perhaps they are worth checking out anyway. I shall see.... |
