But seriously. I wish you guys made more reviews of some brazilian bands/artists.

Ave Sangria, Quinteto Armorial and Marco Antonio Araujo are names that came in my mind always... and I'am just waiting for Secos & Molhados finally get accepted here to annoy you with them LOL

The second round of artists would be the Yugoslavian... I even open a apreciation thread, there are good examples there.

Anyone accept the challenge?

I'll have to admit that my level of sarcasm was quite high in my previous post. Exclamation

Now, the band Yes, there is a group that is criminally underrated on PA. It is sad to hear people disparaging Close to the Edge as "progressive disco" just because the band wore capes and high heeled boots.

I was just playing 'Nursery Cryme' the other day. 'The Musical Box' still gives me chills when I hear the opening "play me old King Cole..." and anticipate the glorious finale of this song.

Not so outrageous to mention Crimson and Genesis in the same breath, as Fripp and Gabriel overlapped back in the late 70s. Robert Fripp's 'Exposure' supplied us with the demo to Gabriel's 'Here Comes the Flood', while Fripp in turn produced the second Gabriel solo ('Scratch'), which Gabriel hates, but that's his loss. And fear is the mother of violence, after all.

Genesis became a Phil Collins top-40 act and as far as I am concerned it should be given wide berth as far as prog-iness goes. I mean "follow me if I follow you would you follow me if I follow you if I follow me through days and nights". You follow me?

Embarrassed I'm flattered.. but it takes more than that.  I had to pass on Stella Vander when she was begging me with her eyes to wisk her away when we met. Now that was flattery...

I am taken you know.  Raff has shown me the knife she said she'd cut my heart out with. Don't f**k with Italian women LOL

Fridge Full of Stars 1'40 solo ac guitar brought by a sumptuous beginning: this solo's a pure treat (even more than later same chord sequence with the power guitar line) !

...Small venues can feel great, but wouldn't much more people be happy to celebrate...

PS: don't google Alex Perkerloup anymore. It's possible cantaloupe eater Alex Perkolup (from that band)

yeah... for some reason I don't dig the vocal harmonies...

not bad actually Alan!  I do like a more chaos and action, less emphasis on singing and lyrics and more on MUSIC... which Raff knows all too well.

Still.. kept my attention for 11+ minutes.  Pretty good. Thumbs Up
