With your aggressive attitude you're feeding the anger of those who blow eachother up.

My love life can make Shakespear seem like a light hearted bed time story.
However, "I have to admit its getting better, getting better all the time!"

My point is that being attracted to a woman (besides physical attraction) is a mysterious and emotionally trying thing. I always spend much of my time regretting ever having an interest, knowing that it will probably result in bitter disappointment. I haven't figured this part out yet.
I have a few friends who are in happy, successful relationships. The best ones are when I'm friends with the guy and I get to be friends with the girl through that relationship. I guess my advice would be to start forming friendships this way...
But yeah, I can sympathize. Many guys are just plain assholes. I have no tolerance for these people, so not many of my friends are like this.

At the risk of having half the posts in this thread I will comment again
I've been misinterpreted as well....not all girls are lik that. The ones that are decent people (and there are a few) just don't seem to want to have anything to do with me, which I guess speaks more about me than anything My point is, that both the majority of girls AND GUYS are vapid, shallow, and judgemental......I guess my real point is I hate everyone

That's so true.
I always used to date guys who were total assholes to me when I first met them.
But don't worry. Most girls grow out of that.

Ah, the old relationship topic.
One of the most important social topics for me, and just about my least favorite. I always come out feeling depressed for a few days, reminiscing on past failures and other past failures... followed by more past failures. Chalk me up as another one of the "hopeless fools" who can't bear any more rejection and think the future looks bleak...
Seriously, I'm trying to find a future that makes life worth living. Listening to prog and constantly going to unsuccessful job interviews is not exactly making me happy to be alive. And then there comes a thread like this to remind me of my loneliness and that hiding from my problems will only save me from pain for so long...

Unfortunately for us, who have personalities. Brains are frowned upon.

Agreed. Seeing as I'm 14 and many of my age do drugs and smoke, small talk doesn't cut it.
Me: Nice top.
Them: Pfft. Damn straight.

Wow. Harsh man. At least in Puerto Rico they aren't as hard as the ones where you live. Good luck with women like those.

I know. And since it's high school, there's peer pressure ("Haha! You don't have a girlfriend! Fag!").

Erm... you're very much mistaken. I know many couples who are truly in love and have never once argued. Yes it's a rare thing, but they UNDERSTAND each other and they love each other. They're not overbearing and they know when the other needs space, or time to themselves. Having said that, for one couple, the real test is about to happen, as the wife is about to drop her baby (if she hasn't already, I must find out!). I cannot foresee any major problems though.
