"Third" by Portishead also plays at 45rpm as does my version of Radiohead's "Kid A" - I think it has something to do with sound quality..

Some of the Klaus Schulze productions on the 'Innovative Communication' label play at 45 r.p.m. Others I have : News From Babel, Art Bears 2nd & 3rd albums, Anglagard's 'Viljans Oga', Primus' 'Green Naugahyde' are a few that come to mind. Oh how weird it was when I played them initially      (Dagmar sounded especially strange....)

I have experienced this with a Hare Krshna album on which was featuring Claudio Rocchi.
I stand with Roger Waters, I stand with Joan Baez, I stand with Victor Jara, I stand with Woody Guthrie. Music is revolution

I know a couple but they're not prog.  The first 2 hardcore punk albums I bought (Dead Kennedy's "In God We Trust Inc" & The Butthole Surfers "Live PCPEP") were full size LP's and I threw them on the turntable and couldn't believe what I was hearing...then I tried it at 45rpm and all was good LOL

My long awaited vinyl reissue of IQ's brilliant Ever arrived today. On the deck immediately and it sounded HORRIFIC - very flat and very slow. I searched the cover - no mention of 33rpm, so I tried it at 45rpm. Perfect. I wish they'd warned us!

I'm lucky my Pink Triangle Anniversary can play at 45rpm (sorry Linn LP 12 owners!) but this is only the second time I've come across this (the other is The Enid's The Spell). Does anyone know of another?

So if you've received yours and haven't tried it, or if it is still to arrive - be warned!

A TVR is not a car. It's a way of life.
