Umma > Meddle > Saucerful > AHM. A batholith fell out of my nose and I tore my baseball card muscle. Oops.

Music has always been a matter of energy to me. On some nights I believe that a car with the needle on empty can run 50 more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio. Hunter S Thompson

Love the four first here more than anything Pink Floyd released after Meddle (Doesn't mean I don't like their 1970's classics. Only that I like these even more) |

Nice! Thank you. My preferences aren't quite as baked-in with the early stuff. They can shift a bit from year to year. Right now my fave is AHM, then Umma, Saucerful, and Meddle. Meddle is far from my favorite Floyd album, but it is a special album somehow, internally. It is the album I chose to pop in my car CD player as I drove to the funeral of each of my parents. It was just kind of automatic. It turned out to be a good choice for that, allowing my mind to hold onto something that wasn't too in my face, something that got me across town intact with something of a calming effect.
