Try Hands of Time (1991) it's my favorite from them.

So I had a quick listen to the newest album and I gotta say I genuinely don’t get the vitriol against these guys. I mean sure they’re channelling some of that good old 70s rock vibes from a fair few bands, Zep included....but rip off/plagiarising they’re certainly not. Personally I think Wobbler sounds more like Yes than Fleta sounds like Led Zeppelin...and I dig both bands (at least by the quick cursory listen I just had).
YMMV of course |

Made me think of and listen to this Gary Moore & Ozzy number from 1989.

Er,,,then what is the point? Personally I like several of their 'singles' they have released in the last 3 years...haven't listened to all of the albums or the newest one ...just one track on you tube. Do they sound like Zep...sure they do ,but as already mentioned other bands do also and we all can find bands that sound like the Beatles, Stones, or a combo of famous bands...Aerosmith anyone? There are only so many 'styles' in basic rock. An interesting video... I hope they progress into their own 'sound'. |

While we're on the subject of Led Zeppelin sound-alikes, how about some Dread Zeppelin.
Heartbreaker

Sounding like Zeppelin had nothing to do with having a crummy record. That's really besides the point.

All this thread is doing is making me want to listen to some Vengaboys
...and watch the Monty Python bit ‘I’m here for the argument’. In all seriousness, I think I’m going to check out Greta later on. She sounds like a really feisty woman. |

We're literally having an internet discussion in 2021 on a classic forum format optimized for your average Netscape user circa 1999. I can't imagine anything more Boomer on the internet. But hey if you guys don't appreciate a bit of self deprecating humor, Ill stop using the term.

What is even more unpleasant, is the fact that it feels like this post's only purpose was to provoke some disputes over this new album by GVF (that most people seem to either dislike or not care about), thus giving reasons for the infantile that posted it to throw the "boomer" tag here and there, instead of providing objective reasoning to why this album could be worthy of attention. I would not be surprised if this post gets locked soon.

stop using the term "boomers' as a slur, every time I see it it's like you're giving me the mddle finger for no reason. You either don't know what it is or you think all the users are in their 60s or something. You'd be surprised there are people of all ages on this forum.
