It is true, only us democrats can appreciate Tales From Topographic Oceans. Trump supporters probably listen to Neal Morse and Kansas exclusively LOL
Just for the record, I have five studio albums by YES and five studio albums by Kansas in my CD collection, but I've no idea who Neal Morse is. Smile

And 2112 thinking it's representative of the band members' current political philosophy. Tongue

I found this place years earlier back in 2010 when I first went online. The only problem was, I didn't decide to join until a couple of months ago, although some of the Trump-haters here probably wish I hadn't joined at all. Tongue

Stop your malicious bullsh*t, minion. You've been warned many times before...good thing for you that I'm not an admin, I wouldn't be as patient as those who are in charge right now.

Same here. I'd give ELP's Brain Salad Surgery two stars, but that's being generous. Tongue

PP,

Aaaah, I'm still dumbfoundedConfused at how imperfect my written blunders areEmbarrassed, how many typos remain in the text, and not even mentionning changing opinions (this happens) or lacking infos still to be added.

If it wasn't so time-consuming and labour-intensiveSleepy, I'd have to re-write 2/3 of them, and I simply don't have the drive to do that.

Because the rest is serious business : behind the scenes (the collab zones) was sometimes awful with egoes and powertrips flaring and firing from all 16 cylinders Nuke. But it was more/only about the site's database, which made worthwhile.

You haven't read my review of Brain Salad Surgery if you think Tony's review is harsh. WinkTongueWink
I agree with your review of Brain Salad Surgery and congratulations on having written well over 3,000 album reviews - probably more than any other member of ProgArchives. I've barely begun with just 20 album reviews to my credit - or to my debit if people don't like them. Tongue

Tony Reed - yep I had a blow or two with him although we could agree at least on one thing and that was on the greatness of Moving Pictures!

He hated ELP and posted a quite funny review of Works Vol One so I countered by copying and pasting his review onto a review of Rush - Hemispheres. A few people complained to admin about 'my' review (but not the original). Tony sent me a PM saying 'you total b*****d!' Needless to say we got on really well after that lol.

I joined in May 2009, although I had to check to find that out. Wow. Ten years already. One thing I have learned is how big the progosphere is, and that I do not agree with everybody's tastes and views. That's okay. I have discovered a lot of music new to me that I have truly enjoyed and some music that I could care less for. This is a site where a band like Jade Warrior, although not the most well-known, is not considered obscure. To put that into perspective, everyone I know who knows of JW knows them through me.
The world of sound is certainly capable of infinite variety and, were our sense developed, of infinite extensions. -- George Santayana, "The Sense of Beauty"
