I don't really care about rankings here, but I love Jimmy Chamberlain (Smashing Pumpkins). Insane power and groove in his drumming.

Yep. I saw Donati in his first clinic in America wayyyy back in the early '00's. Needless to say EVERYONE at the clinic was left speechless, including the other clinicians. His double bass single strokes were faster than my double stroke rolls in my hands, and I have been a rudimental/marchiing drummer all my life! Needless to say I cancelled MANY appointments that Spring did alot of practicing....
Iv'e got sXe!!!

There's one fantastic guy that never gets a mention; Moving Gelatine Plates Gerard Pons. Its not that strange really. I had to look up his name myself. And there's only two albums by the band. Insane and highly enjoyable. Both the band and the drummer. Whatever happened to him?

Check him out their myspace page

Dead i can't think of the rest

Have you checked out Koenjihyakkei or Ruins?  Their drummer, Yoshida Tatsuya, is incredible, like Vander with lots and lots of caffeine.
