I see. I don't want to compete, just to finish what I started and wasn't able to finish. Somehow :)

your lists are good, I wondered if I can do it somehow too, so easily.

There's a point where "avant-garde" and "experimental" becomes "terrible" and "pointless,"

Marty, I'm keeping a database of reviews and each Monday I'll post the 'Top 10', at least for the next few weeks. I'm happy to do this on a weekly basis (just involves a little book-keeping). However people may get tired of this, so I could just post the list at the end of each month. Just a bit of fun, not a competition.

Is there someone who wants to count it ? I'm quite tired and don't know if I manage to do it.

We can have nice statistics. Is there math / counting expert / lover ?

Well, you posted the most reviews (6) in a single day! I only managed 2 reviews for the whole week.

I started the list from 11.30 EST on Monday, and finished at midnight on Sunday. A total of 196 reviews by 77 different members - 34 collabs and 43 ordinary members.

Back when I was a prolific reviewer of sorts, I remember posting 5 in a day onceWink. Now, if I post five in two or three months, it's already something to be celebratedCry...

One day, I've reviewed about 12 albums. All of them classics that I know by heart. And to lesser extent, this happened few times (8-10 per day) in past. It's writer's rush and it works. Even my reviews aren't the longest ones here :)

Yes Raff, same to me, during 2 years and a half i have a sort of writer's block, then when i have resolved that, now i have enough time to do my daily activities.

Actually, I'm having a bit of a writers block right now so I have some time for the forum Smile
The reason I write so much is because I'm a very focussed kind of guy and I want it over and done with!
From May onwards I'll probably won't be writing anything anymore till next fall.

I am one of those lucky guys who works from home, meaning I stop working around 17u, and then write 3-4 reviews and do the cooking, all before my wife gets home around 19u!  Besides I only work 4/5 now.

Considering the album ownership matter. I've been buying albums for 25 years now (around 30 up to 80 titles a year), there's also plenty of good libraries here in Belgium (ask Sean Trane) and I have plenty of the 70's stuff from my brother. I don't shy away to listening to new music using the possibilities of the internet but I want to own everything I like eventually.
'Owning' albums without paying the artist is highly unethical in my view.
