And according to what Easy Says... You're completely right about "Wet Dream" and "Broken China", they are fine crafted pieces of atmospheric, well achieved prog...
I don't think he was the "George Harrison" in Pink Floyd though, because Rick was more creative and innovating than George could ever be in The Beatles! Rick was the head in many projects of the band and the leadman when it came to song writing and arrangements... he's more than Harrison, and in his defense, he seems to be nicer than the mate from Liverpool
